Mr. Wright's Class

Dear Parent(s) and Student,

Before we start our exciting year together, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself, the attitude expected of my students, and the home support necessary for success. My name is Luke Wright. I am presently residing in Bakersfield with my wife of seven years, Franchesca Wright. I have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, several years experience as a substitute teacher, and a passion for learning and educating.

For this new school year, I anticipate each of my students coming with a willingness to focus on the tasks at hand and a positive attitude towards learning, especially in the fields of Math and Science. You are going to take ownership of your education. I want you to search and discover and appreciate the countless details in this world from every perspective! Occasionally, you may become overwhelmed, but I know you will achieve so much this year. I look forward to seeing you grow and succeed.

Effective teaching and learning also involve strong home support. Not only do I look forward to interacting with students, but also with parents. To all of you taking much care of a student, I really want to work with you as well as do everything possible to make this a rewarding experience for your loved one. Your ideas, concerns, and encouraging words will go far in making this experience an actual reality.
